WNBA’s Jantel Lavender Is Allegedly Very Mean
The following story tells us two things: TMZ thinks everyone is a star and female athletes have the ability to kick the shit out of their HABs. Jantel Lavender, of the L.A. Sparks and the number 5 overall pick in the 2011 WNBA draft, has absolutely terrorized her ex-boyfriend Adam Ashley. According to TMZ, Ashley has been in hiding since July 5. Curious why?
he’s been “in hiding” ever since a July 5 altercation where Lavender allegedly grabbed a knife and threatened to kill him.
In the docs, Ashley also says Lavender “grabbed my head and slammed it into the wall. She grabbed my neck and was choking me.”
Ashley claims it wasn’t the first time Lavender got violent with him — alleging she also tried to choke him during a fight in June. During that altercation, Ashley claims, “While I was grabbing for her hands she kneed me in the growing [SIC] area. My private area was throbbing from the pain.”
Yeah, that’s kind of intense. Lavender scored 7 points a game off the bench for the Sparks this season which is all the more impressive when you consider the work she’s putting in off the court.
