Salma Hayek, going work this morning. Very nice pic and roundup in general TBL.
Are you trying to do political everyday now?
August 17th, 2011 at 8:16 AM
What your soccer jersey says about you.
I saw a 9-year old boy wearing a Terry shirt and I was so angry I cried.
This made me lose my oatmeal.
Gossip Girl actress has decided to quit acting
When did Taylor Momsen ever act?
August 17th, 2011 at 8:17 AM
Damn you TBL, the “officer’s final act of kindness” story made me tear-up.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:17 AM
Straight snitchin.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:23 AM
this redesign is hilarious, accurate
you know what’s really underrated? Pots and kettles, and the conversations they have with each other.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:25 AM
husband of one of the ‘Real Housewives’ commits suicide …
Surprised it took him this long.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:25 AM
Salma Hayek
My day is off to an awesome start already. I knew there was a reason I put salsa on my eggs this morning. Yum!
August 17th, 2011 at 8:28 AM
Oooh, thats the best breakfast.
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes. Not only is it annoying to fellow patrons, it is incredibly rude to whoever youre out with. Phone away, off or on silent. We are LIVING in a SOCIETY here people.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:28 AM
That soccer jersey article was so, so good.

Egg white on sourdough, with melted cheddar, salsa, and dash of pepper.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:32 AM
2 eggs, over easy, on top of hashbrowns, topped with shredded mozzerella and 2 slices of american cheese, finished with salsa and a side of sour cream.
That’s salsa cheese eggs, the best breakfast in the world.

August 17th, 2011 at 8:41 AM
you’re not the only one.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:42 AM
thanks.
and “not really” to your other question. Just a lot of politics in the news lately.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:42 AM
Six egg whites, no yolks, with some pepper and garlic.
/currently on protein-heavy diet
That is highly amusing. Good one, TBL.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:43 AM
Sriracha sauce on any breakfast material > huevos rancheros > salsa cheese eggs
August 17th, 2011 at 8:43 AM
Oh I know, considering Perry said he would put Bernanke up for treason, lots of fun stuff on the three-ring circus to mention.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:44 AM
Likely not. Still has to collect on the judgment, which sounds unlikely.

This peanut allergy thing is completely insane now.

Don’t lick the damn seat!
August 17th, 2011 at 8:44 AM
I don’t read that site, but I don’t really see what was so wrong with the site design. I get the jokes on the page itself (Bleacher report sucks and people that read it aren’t terribly bright, blah, blah, I get it), but dicking on the design of the site?
I feel like I need some sort of joke explained to me on this one.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:44 AM
Shark screwed up his timing, just missed shark week.
August 17th, 2011 at 8:44 AM
Once again, the tease pic on the front page is better than this pic.
I wonder if it’s because her face isn’t as prominent….

GOOOOOOOOD mornin’ salma hayek!
August 17th, 2011 at 9:05 AM
I just caught up on the Shanahan/Beck thing. Holy shitballs.
I distinctly remember John Beck having the ball slip out of his hands, under no pressure with no contact, several times during his stint as Dolphins starter. And my Dolphins’ fan buddy saying “yeah, he has really small hands, a lot of people were worried about that.”
Go Skins.

Off ramps…had construction down here so the off ramp to the service street was one lane. Meaning those already on the service street had a stop sign and had to yield. I remember 3 occasions when I almost got wrecked* because of a fucking idiot not following traffic laws.
*for yesterday’s discussion on accidents. In the south
August 17th, 2011 at 9:06 AM
Believet’s around 60 mph. Was in a construction zone. Very little space to exit freeway.i

August 17th, 2011 at 9:07 AM
it’s all a joke, Dewar. There is no re-design (at least I don’t think – i never visit the site). I guess I should put “re-design” in quotes.
sports pickle is satire
August 17th, 2011 at 9:07 AM
That’s not political. That’s a lady trying way, way too hard.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:08 AM
Anyone ever fill an empty jar of pickles with cucumber spears? 2 days later and I have pickles again! This discovery made me way too happy.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:09 AM
What your soccer jersey says about you.
I have a Costa Rican national jersey, and England national jersey and a Pumas jersey
Zeus, did yoou get an adrenaline rush seeing that? I always get one seeing other people almost crash or actually crash
August 17th, 2011 at 9:11 AM
My wife has been making pickles with the abundance of zucchini that we have from our garden. And last night, she made habenero salsa.

I fb posted the other day about how the word click looks like dick, but here, Dewar crosses the line
August 17th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
St Bear, we also have loads of zucchini coming out of our garden.. never thought to pickle that though, does it really taste ok?
August 17th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
And last night, she made habenero salsa.
you are a lucky man. i have to buy El Yucateco. mmmmmmmm El Yucateco
August 17th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
Couldn’t tell the difference. Think about it, how much flavor really comes from the cucumber? It’s just a vessel to soak up the pickling juice.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:15 AM
How about the comeback by Ryan Westmoreland after brain surgery
August 17th, 2011 at 9:16 AM
Zeus, did yoou get an adrenaline rush seeing that?
Not on this one, happened really quickly.
When I lived in Kelowna, came back from a road trip at 3am, witnessed a truck drill a pedestrian (they caught him, guy was drunk) and then take off. Stopped and gave that guy CPR, lots of adrenaline rush there.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:16 AM
that sounds awesome. zucchini bread is quite tasty as well.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:17 AM

August 17th, 2011 at 9:21 AM

Sorry, he lived, but was pretty busted up. Ambulance was there in what felt like only a couple minutes.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:21 AM
i like selma hayek’s breasts nood style.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:22 AM
I like throwing zucchini in my calabacitas.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:25 AM
Did anyone watch that “chupacabra” video on yahoo? I’m pretty sure it’s just a coyote or stray dog with mange. Poor thing.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:28 AM
agreed. there is a Thai place in town that has a zucchini chicken dish that I’ve been craving for about 2 weeks now.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:28 AM
I really hate the chupacabra, big foot and the loch ness monster.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:30 AM
Very sad about Corwin Brown – “Meanwhile, Brown’s family believes he might have been suffering from the same depressive symptoms experienced by former Notre Dame football player and Chicago Bears star Dave Duerson, 50, who committed suicide Feb. 17.”
August 17th, 2011 at 9:30 AM

Straight snitchin.
Jealousy among women? Shocking.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
It’s clearly some sort of dog-like animal (I’m guessing a coyote) with a severe skin disease. These assholes trapped this poor animal, took a bunch of video and pictures to “prove” that they found a “chupacabra” and took blood samples thinking it would make them rich.

grilling some up later this week with olive oil, salt & pepper
I let the zucchini grow a tad big in the garden, then slice them at an angle for grilling. Easier for the wife to brush and flip. Throw some fresh basil on them, too. Hollow out your bell peppers, put olive oil, garlic and basil inside, then grill them.
/I grow my zucchini big, then get it brushed and flipped.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:35 AM
Very sad about Corwin Brown – “Meanwhile, Brown’s family believes he might have been suffering from the same depressive symptoms experienced by former Notre Dame football player and Chicago Bears star Dave Duerson, 50, who committed suicide Feb. 17.”
Similar to Shane Dronett – way sad.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:35 AM
The story I just read at MSNBC suggests its a fox with mange. I guess they’re high population in that area, too. It is sad, because if you’re going to catch it, you might as well care for it. Don’t just put it in a cage, take some photos and send it on its way.
We’re not alone in the universe and there might be other dimensions, multiverses, etc., but I refuse to believe in Bigfoot, Nessie or the chupacabra. The chupacabra is probably the most ridiculous mythical beast ever.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:35 AM
Poor Jersey. I just handed him another nut-punching loss in WWF.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
We’re not alone in the universe and there might be other dimensions, multiverses, etc., but I refuse to believe in Bigfoot, Nessie or the chupacabra. The chupacabra is probably the most ridiculous mythical beast ever.
Yep. We would have found them already. There would have to be more than 1 for them to reproduce, etc., etc.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
But just remember, any attempt to make the game more safe is “sissifying” it
August 17th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
I’m gonna send the warning shot here…no Game of Thrones in the Culture Tournament. That’s some bullshit.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
Exactly. From all the Animal Planet I’ve watched, they say mange is really painful.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
France’s biggest film star Gerard Depardieu urinated in an airplane in front of fellow passengers after cabin crew refused to let him use the bathroom.
Well, when you gotta go, you gotta go.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:41 AM
Considering it was clowned on in his Twitter, it doesn’t surprise me.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:42 AM
I just did. It certainly is wierd looking. Doesn’t look like a Chupacabra or scary in the least. What the hell was up with that video though. Does Yahoo really need to make a news story video into some bullshit entertainment piece with some bitch chiming in with her ‘funny’ quips? Thats annoying.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:43 AM
Of course, saying all of this, I believe there is some seriously badass ocean life we have yet to discover. We’ve only scratched the surface on our ocean exploration. How cool is that?
August 17th, 2011 at 9:45 AM
I would love to see some video of a giant squid hunting anything.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:45 AM

thats what i love about the ocean/rivers/lakes. there is certainly some undiscovered species out there, and giant record setting versions of current fish like gar, sharks, etc.

One of my favorite Salma Hayek pictures. Slightly NSFW.

Poor Jersey. I just handed him another nut-punching loss in WWF.
and then made it public. poor jersey indeed
August 17th, 2011 at 9:53 AM
I just started WWF free and can’t get enough of it.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:54 AM
It pisses me off that EVERY mangy dog-like animal found alongside the road, in the woods, or wandering in some goat farm is a chupacabra. It’s ridiculous.
At least Nessie is underwater, so that adds to the intrigue, although thorough sonar searches have turned up nothing, and we only see her in a grainy, sketchy videos. And Bigfoot, well his stories are the ones you hear around campfires. There’s like one decent video of him, the Patterson-Gimlin one from 1967, and it was probably a dude in a costume.
August 17th, 2011 at 9:56 AM
I read something recently that scientists find hundreds of new species every year. That’s some cool shit. It’s too bad we mow down rain forests and have missed out on a lot of other species.

I’m a conservative and although Bachman isn’t who I support she’s pretty smart. But that was really dumb. How do you screw that up.
Of course, Obama thinks (I kmow it was a slip) there is 57 states. Translation: They ALL mess up eventually. Don’t use this kind of thing to eliminate people. Unfortunately we now live in a gotcha world. And the sad truth is many of our GREATEST Presidents wouldn’t get elected today. Not good for the future.
August 17th, 2011 at 10:04 AM

same for the deep woods. if yu’ve ever been remote on your own at night, the mind is cruel
