Kendrick Perkins Arrested For Public Intoxication

Oklahoma City Thunder center Kendrick Perkins was arrested around 4am this morning for public intoxication. Perk was picked up in his hometown of Beaumont, Texas. The KDFM story makes it sound like Perkins was taken from Stephen Jackson’s home in an ambulance the night before and was suffering from dehydration on Friday. That sounds like on heck of a bender, if you ask me.

The Celebrity exhibition game scheduled at his basketball camp Friday afternoon was cancelled and Perkins did not attend the banquet that concluded his camp Friday night.
The guy couldn’t even finish his own basketball camp. He didn’t want to call his mom to pick him up, so he called Stephen Jackson.
Who the hell wants to go to Kendrick Perkins’ basketball camp? Learn how to scowl, learn how to foul?

Perkins was voted “player who thinks he is better than he actually is” by NBA peers. That whole celtics team was full of fake gangstas.

Unfortunately I’m originally from Beaumont. Saying Beaumont is a shithole would be complimenting the place. There ain’t a hell of a lot more to do than drink there. It’s a sad, sad little place. Also, hanging out with Jackson isn’t a surprise since he’s from Port Arthur (about 20 minutes down the road and maybe the only place in the world worse than Beaumont).
