They’ll be okay. They still have the nasty group of WRs and Petrino running the show, but they’re definitely going to take a step back and that is before we’ve seen what their OL looks like.

You can remain optimistic, but saying that losing one of the best 15 running backs in the nation (perhaps top-10) won’t affect the wins and losses of the team is…odd.

I tend to agree with this. I think A&M will be a consistent 8-4 type of team with the occasional 2-3 year run of 9-10 wins and similar runs of 6-6. They have the cash, talent pool and desire to do well, so they won’t be an Ole Miss or Miss St, but they can be SC and Ark.

Remembering Petrino’s stable of backs (a few unknowns) at Louisville, makes me think they might be all right. In fact, this is somewhat similar to when Michael Bush went down his senior year there.

I love this logic. People need to be reminded that having the best QB (IN THE BIG EAST) and losing the best running back (IN THE BIG EAST) means nothing when you’re now playing LSU, Alabama, Texas A&M, South Carolina, Mississippi State and Auburn.

Higher ypc and rushing yards than both Richardson and Lattimore. One could says Davis is better than both.

I wouldn’t say he is better, but he is on the same level. not many agree with me, but Knile doesn’t get anywhere close to the hype that these two do even though the numbers say otherwise. that’s what happens when you have a stud WR corps.
