that guy looks like a douche bag.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:43 AM
Stacy Keibler is sub par for Clooney!!!!! This is not a legend move.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:44 AM
I admire him for that.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:45 AM
Love this show… I’m starting up a stock pile myself. Its very fun.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:46 AM

i don’t think either of those are airbrushed
(note: I have a photo of me and Keibler. i made it my twitter avatar for like 19 seconds once)
August 9th, 2011 at 8:47 AM
Were you able to hold it together better than the photo of you and Alba?
August 9th, 2011 at 8:48 AM
Of course you do, because it takes away easy material for posts.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:49 AM
hooray insider information?
August 9th, 2011 at 8:49 AM
I’ve seen some Me-ows in my day but this takes the cake.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:49 AM
That is amazing. The Colts have undrafted players that have been with the organization longer than 2004.
/Is it Thursday yet?
August 9th, 2011 at 8:49 AM

yes, much better.
i don’t think you read the link. he hates coaches banning twitter. i like it.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:52 AM
Why would I do that?

/Does quick math formula.

/looks up keiblers age.
Okay its allowed. But he is going to have to get rid of her by October. Legends always stay below the threshold.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:54 AM
What a coincidence! The US apparently spends money like Bruce McNall did in those days.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:55 AM
I’ve been to games at WVU. I don’t see this ending well.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:57 AM
The Redskins can’t draft for shit, and nobody they drafted before 2004 is currently in the NFL.
it’s hard to say they can’t draft for shit when they never have any mid round draft picks. none of their 1st rounders are busts – they’ve had some disappointments, sure – from 2004 ’til now.
i’m not here to defend Vinny’s shitty picks, nor his inability to not trade away picks every year, but to say they can’t draft for shit is a bit much.
August 9th, 2011 at 8:58 AM
The US apparently spends money like Bruce McNall

don’t worry, Ill, Jay V will jump in to defend the Skins when he checks in.

So storage wars is going to spin off using other cities?
/where’s the shark?
August 9th, 2011 at 9:00 AM
futhermore, if Sean T hadn’t been killed, the Landry pick would look even better.
they would have been the best safety tandem maybe ever.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:00 AM
That.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:01 AM
it’s hard to defend that when those picks were traded for guys like mark brunell, tj duckett and jason taylor.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:03 AM
quite the list of “celebrity” meth monsters in that article.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:03 AM
don’t worry, Ill, Jay V will jump in to defend the Skins when he checks in.
JayV is the much more intelligent version of the redneck redskins’ homers that call into the sports radio shows from Manassas and Woodbridge, VA.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:03 AM
In the middle of the woods in NH.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:04 AM
You could knock me over with a feather right now
Why? The explanations given from coaches in the link are weak…these guys are just control freaks, the Packers somehow managed to overcome half the team being on Twitter to win the Super Bowl last season, I think college kids can be also be trusted
August 9th, 2011 at 9:05 AM
Most can, but then you have the Marvin Austins of the world.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:07 AM
it’s hard to defend that when those picks were traded for guys like mark brunell, tj duckett and jason taylor.
Brunell they needed at the time, Duckett and Taylor were just awful decisions.
they gave up a 2nd and/or 3rd for Duckett and he maybe had 4 carries for the Skins. just AWFUL…
August 9th, 2011 at 9:10 AM
so the saints have shaun rogers, aubrayo franklin and sedrick ellis at DT huh…that’s pretty fucking beastly. they’re flying under the radar this offseason with the eagles and packers and shit, but damn the saints are fucking LOADED.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:10 AM
Speaking of Marvin, has there been any update with that crazy Marvin Harrison gun story from a few years ago?
August 9th, 2011 at 9:11 AM
I agree with Rovell on this. No use sticking your head in the sand with social media. Might as well bring someone in to teach them how to use it since these coaches are supposed to be “educators” and all.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
that’s funny, because I heard one of the dolt’s on the radio this morning telling me how they weren’t making the playoffs.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
but damn the saints are fucking LOADED
i picked them to win the SB this year. mainly b/c they got good odds and i’m a Bammer homer rooting for Ingram to be the next Walter Payton.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:12 AM
/sportsgal gets wacked
August 9th, 2011 at 9:13 AM
Asking questions about this just raises the chances of being shot by Marvin Harrison so I’d keep quiet if I was you
August 9th, 2011 at 9:14 AM
Too many Roy Williams’ to keep track of
August 9th, 2011 at 9:14 AM

August 9th, 2011 at 9:19 AM
Any guys here forced to watch Bachelor Pad last night with their wives/gfs?
August 9th, 2011 at 9:20 AM
Nope, a horrible looking bronze bust of him just arrived
TBL probably just wants Notre Dame to ban Tweeting so there are no more instances of Chatty Cathy film managers alerting the masses to program incompetence
August 9th, 2011 at 9:20 AM
Nope. Got to watch Top Gear and the latest James May/Oz Clarke drinking program. I’m guessing I had the better watching.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:22 AM
A two TV/DVR household is a must. Bachelor Pad was awesome last night but I’m pretty sure I’ll bail after a few weeks.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:22 AM
Not as much as Badger and Skinny Pete
August 9th, 2011 at 9:22 AM
+ 1 Troy Aikman look-a-like bust
August 9th, 2011 at 9:22 AM
Any guys here forced to watch Bachelor Pad last night with their wives/gfs?
Nope. We watched Breaking Bad Season 3 (The Fly Episode)
August 9th, 2011 at 9:24 AM
I saw 5 minutes of this before leaving for dinner. The one that was dressed like a carrot with the blonde hair looked like a porn star and I can’t think of what her name is. It looked like a truly dreadful program that would have my brain leaking out my ear if I had given it more than the 5 minutes that I did prior to leaving.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:24 AM
No, we watched the “Superheroes” thing on HBO. One of my wife’s friends from childhood is engaged to one of those ‘heroes’ so we watched. Honestly, some of those guys have mental illnesses.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:24 AM
No, just forced to go grocery shopping at Wal-Mart
/fucking hates Wal Mart
August 9th, 2011 at 9:25 AM

/I control the remote most of the time

August 9th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
Not as much as Badger and Skinny Pete
Badger doesn’t annoy me as much as Skinny Pete does.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
Most can, but then you have the Marvin Austins of the world.
wait, there are multiple marvin austins? like a mini army?
August 9th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
The Saints are going to be scary good. Hot damn that Week 1 game is going to be awesome. If both teams aren’t sloppy as hell due to extended time off.
Seriously, I have a feeling we’re going to get a “what happened to parity?” post from Lisk by mid-November once the Packers and Saints are 10-1, and the Eagles, Pats, Ravens and Steelers are all 9-2. (While the Bengals, Browns, Bills, Raiders, Panthers and Seahawks struggle to win 4 games all year.)
August 9th, 2011 at 9:26 AM
Oh my god I despise Wal-Mart. Your wife likes to shop there? Target over Wal-Mart every day and twice on Sundays.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:27 AM
Question for the comments, I know some of you responded on Twitter last night:
If you could have one arcade style game, like the whole giant box and everything, in your basement/rec room, what would it be? I went with the side scrolling Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles one. Runners-Up included Cruisin’ USA, X-Men and The Simpsons.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:27 AM
/fixed
August 9th, 2011 at 9:27 AM
Happy Birthday Ill. You going anywhere cool tonight? Wife took me to Ray’s The Steak last year and it was awesome.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:28 AM
i dunno about that…i was arguing with a bengals fan buddy about how shitty they’d be and we looked up the schedules. both the browns and bengals skeds are preposterously light.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:28 AM
Badger doesn’t annoy me as much as Skyler White does.
Oh yeah. In fact, I hate everyone on that show except Walt and the Chicken dude.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:28 AM
SG – Ever been to this place? Deal looks kinda nice. Surprised I’ve never seen it as I’ve been to Cozy right across the way like 100 times. I’m trying to find some Mexican spots that I haven’t tried yet.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:28 AM
Neither of us like it…but it’s much cheaper than Target, which we prefer. Damn it!
I like this. WWF Wrestlemania was fun too.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:29 AM
Stacy Keibler is sub par for Clooney!!!!! This is not a legend move.
Normally I let you speak your mind when you’re giving other ladies the once-over SG, but you’re just flat out wrong here. Kiebler’s a smokeshow. Platinum. Certified.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:29 AM
I can’t argue with that choice. Other ones I would consider are Double Dragon, Golden Axe.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:30 AM
No love for Saul?
August 9th, 2011 at 9:30 AM
NBA JAM, Arcade edition.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:30 AM
I doubt it. With the rate of injuries we’re already seeing in training camp, I think you’ll see plenty of parity. Especially as far as the Eagles are concerned seeing as they’re one injury away from Vince Young being under center… well, you know what I mean seeing as he doesn’t know how to take a center-QB exchange still.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:31 AM
Got to go with some pinball. video game only I would throw Rampage in there. that was a classic at the skating rink back in the day.
/limbo’s
August 9th, 2011 at 9:31 AM

August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
No. I don’t really like Mexican food.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
The giant 4-player X-Men. Also considered Daytona USA, Mortal Kombat 2, Street Fighter II and NBA Jam.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
Oooooh. That’s a good one. You can play co-op on that one too. The only co-op games we could think of were NBA Jam and NFL Blitz.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
Mike deserves your respect
August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
Good choice as well.
Couples skate!
/falls down
August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
I already said Terminator 2. Street Fighter 2 is another option. I think X-Men will still win. I don’t want to think about how many quarters I dumped into that game. BTW – I was borderline ustoppable using Colossus.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:32 AM
@Ill- I am a big Redskins fan but I think that the correct headline should be that the Redskins have not drafted for shit. Trading away picks for players (Coles was the worst)and wasting picks on WR’s (Devin Thomas and Malcolm Kelly). Vinny and Dan have had no clear long term planning.
On another note @Ill it is very nice to see Torian Graham decommit from NC State. UMD will be involved and just as importantly it fucks Debbie over in her quest to rebuild State.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:33 AM
TMNT is a solid choice as is Simpsons. I would go with Off Road.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:33 AM
I would probably go with the Simpsons since you can get the X-Men one on PSN/Xbox Live. Loved the Simpsons game, swear you had to put in at least $20 to beat that damn game.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:33 AM
The injuries and sloppy play are exactly why I think there won’t be parity. Talent will win out, and the teams I mentioned have more talent than anyone.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:34 AM
that was a classic at the skating rink back in the day.
Couples skate!
/falls down
I believe I touched my first boob at a skating rink. I think I was in the 7th or 8th grade.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:34 AM
Loved this game, but the fucking time ALWAYS ran out on me.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:34 AM
Time Crisis, Crazy Taxi, or Metal Slug.
S1rweeze, I’d be very surprised to see the Pack at 10-1. Bears, Saints, and Falcons games are going to be absolute dogfights.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:34 AM
badger bugs me, mostly b/c of his voice. hanks wife is a pain at times, mike is cool, skylar was annoying but has gotten better since she is seeing the world as gray instead of black and white.
saul’s cool, and funny.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:35 AM
The Terminator 2 game with the guns? That game was awesome. Also would love a Street Fighter 2 as well. Happy birthday ill by the way.
/me and Dhalism were buddies
August 9th, 2011 at 9:35 AM
I guess if you have only had mexican food from Chicago that is understandable.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:35 AM
Oh damn I forgot about that one, with the mounted machine gun. I also remember some sniper arcade game where you looked through a scope to take people down from on top of a building. I wish I remember what it was called because it was effing awesome.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:36 AM
Big Buck Hunter!!
/wanking motion
August 9th, 2011 at 9:36 AM
The Saints, yes but you guys are lucky that game is Week 1. The Packers will put up 40+ points each against the Falcons and Bears, easily.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:36 AM
My favorite was when they’d have backwards skate and just about every kid would leave the floor except a group of boys who thought it was funny to fall down all the time and the 6 people who were actually good roller skaters.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
I never played Terminator 2 in the arcade. I may have to look that one up. The only first person shooters I remember were Operation Wolf, Virtua Cop and Police Trainer.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
that was a pretty sick game.
i’d go for time crisis.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
Golden Tee with the 42 inch screen would be sick as well.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:37 AM
Silent Scope. Just had to look that one up. That was a fun one. Very tough, though.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
MK II and X-men would good calls. House of the Dead was also one of my favorites.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
See how Walt acted on Sunday when they were going through the script? That’s how I act when Skyler is on screen.
All the BB talk, and no love for Jesse Pinkman. I’m telling you, that character is the most tragic on TV since John Locke.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
Area 51 was all kinds of crazy as well…hard as hell.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
also really liked the skiing and snow boarding games that were popular years ago…aspen extreme, something like that?
August 9th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
Happy Birthday Ill. You going anywhere cool tonight? Wife took me to Ray’s The Steak last year and it was awesome
thanks, everyone.
i’m not really into bday celebrations and the gf has the flu. looks like a couple friends and i will hit up taco tuesday at don pablos, where how much tequilla i drink will depend on how much peer pressure i give in to.
ray’s the steaks is mawney though. best steak around and much cheaper than all the others in the area.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
All the BB talk, and no love for Jesse Pinkman. I’m telling you, that character is the most tragic on TV since John Locke.
interested to see how Mike lets him off the hook in the next episode. you know he’s not going to end up at the bottom of a hole in the desert, he’s the best actor on the show.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:39 AM
when that disco ball came on you know shit was going down.

Nightcrawler was always my go-to character. I used to play that game with a kid I grew up with and we’d always be Nightcrawler and Cyclops.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:40 AM
Do they even have arcades any more? I always liked the football throw game cause I could rack up mad amounts of tickets.
And Skeeball. I’ll always love Skeeball.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:40 AM
Bowling at the skating rink.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:40 AM
Ok Saul is comic relief and Mike is a badass.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:41 AM
That was it. I wish they’d done stuff like that with the Super Scope 6 for the SNES.
I’m surprised no one’s said Revolution X yet. Wait, no I’m not.

Happy Birthday ill. May Dan Snyder step in front of the Orange Line Foggy Bottom Metro for you today.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:42 AM
shit, I didn’t even think of Golden Tee, that would be the shit. there is a bass fishing toller-ball game that is fun as hell too, but it probably isn’t available (or enjoyable to anyone) outside Arkansas.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:42 AM
I tried to get my 5 YO to play some skee ball last week. He wasn’t having it at all.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:42 AM
I want to make fun of this…..but I played it. A lot.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:43 AM
Oh my god I would so have a skee ball machine over any arcade game. There was a bar at my school that would give away beer if you won a certain amount of tickets.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:43 AM
Disown him
August 9th, 2011 at 9:44 AM
There’s a place in Chicago opening up down by Navy Pier and the movie theater AMC River East that is going to be a bar… WITH SKEEBALL IN IT. I am very excited about this development as I can think of few things better than going out with your buddies, drinking and playing some skeeball.
This was the arcade I always went to as a kid. It has a laser tag arena, big arcade area and a little spot for birthdays with like a stage show.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:44 AM
You have to love how when TMNT got huge, the most random stupid shows/games started popping up. Battletoads, Biker Mice From Mars, Swat Kats… its like they randomly drew occupations for random animals.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:44 AM
Hardest game ever made. Couldn’t get past the damn jet bikes.

Agreed on this. But the Bears always play Green Bay tough, have no reason to think that won’t change this season.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:45 AM
I love Golden Tee!
August 9th, 2011 at 9:46 AM
Roberto Garza has been announced as the starting center and [TBL golf voice] some guy named Lance Lewis is our right guard. Clay Matthews is going to be in Jay Cutler’s kitchen all game.

Any of you guys ever heard of Wright’s Barnyard? That’s where we used to go. Mini golf, gokarts, arcade…..it was the shit for a 8 year old me. I could never get enough tickets to win that Andre Dawson framed picture though.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
These are different games….not sure if you can compare them.
I’d go with:
air hockey > dome hockey
and:
skee ball > pop-a-shot
August 9th, 2011 at 9:47 AM
Aerosmith’s Revolution X was a great arcade game. You shoot CD missiles!!!
August 9th, 2011 at 9:49 AM
Southeast suburb… Lansing I want to say. I remember going past there once after a hockey game. We used to play club hockey against Lansing when I was like 12.

My wife started doing this after watching the show. She’s saving us a lot of money and we have a good little stockpile going.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:55 AM
The parlor game that I never could even get to the point of being average at. Perhaps it is the root of my distaste for soccer. I suck at that game.

yep. sigh.

I can just imagine if Seagal re-created the Out for Justice scene with a skeeball instead of a cue ball.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:56 AM
The game’s bigoted against the left-handed man trying to maintain control in the offensive zone
August 9th, 2011 at 9:57 AM
SC – tip #1 for getting better at foosball is NEVER EVER spin the bars.
August 9th, 2011 at 9:58 AM
I will crush any of you fools in air hockey though. Pool I’m average at. Pretty decent ping pong player. Suck at foosball. I’m all over darts until I have to hit the bullseye 3 times in Cricket. I played a dart game with these two girls on Friday night. I think it took us 33 turns to complete a game of cricket because I couldn’t hit the damn bullseye.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:00 AM
/nods
IMO, there’s no other dart game but Cricket. GTFO with that 301 shit too.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:00 AM
I was under the impression that this is a standard rule in foosball. Spinning is for the weak minded and poorly coordinated. Although I fit both of those descriptions, I didn’t break the rule.

That could very easily double as innuendo.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:01 AM
no way, man. I’m a lefty and that’s perfect for good defense. you just need a decent wrist flick with the right hand on offense, but the fingertip touch on defense with the left hand is a must.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:03 AM
it usually is a rule, but I never enforce it because if my opponent is doing it, he/she sucks.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:04 AM
Taking one of them out on Thursday. Hopefully it only takes a couple turns this time.

Never can get much force on it, I usually go cross-armed there with the right on the midfield…turns into quite the spectacle watching me go back-and-forth
August 9th, 2011 at 10:05 AM
Team Boobs?
August 9th, 2011 at 10:05 AM
I know you’ve all been talking about it since this comment way back in the 50s, but, to me, this episode is what won both of them their Emmys. Breaking Bad “went there” with this type of storytelling, and I was completely engulfed.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:06 AM
Who the fuck is Gavin DeGraw?
August 9th, 2011 at 10:06 AM
301 and 501 can be fun. Especially when you are playing with someone shitty like SC

i’m a fan of passing the ball left to right on the defense before sending it up to the offense. slows me down a bit, keeps me from firing away and can set up some space if the opponent commits to a move too soon.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:09 AM
Still have no idea who he is. Sounds like he was nearly murked.
August 9th, 2011 at 10:09 AM
foosball im not great at but I am the air hockey QUEEN
August 9th, 2011 at 10:12 AM
I’d challenge you to a best of 3 in air hockey, nudie picture photo hunt and skeeball.

I would go with Saturday Night Slam Masters. It was an arcade wrestling game, where the characters had these crazy ass over-the-top moves. And I’m talking about getting the double machine, where you could have four people playing at once.
