Bryce Harper Took a Tour of the Hershey Factory

Bryce Harper finally appears to be embracing his boring central Pennsylvania surroundings, or at least pretending to do so, as he recently took a tour of the Hershey Factory. Thumbs up all around usually means an exceptional time was had by all. I was trying to think what kind of pose he could have flashed that people wouldn’t completely hate or find annoying, but nothing came to mind except for possibly Daniel LaRusso’s concentration routine.

Got to see him last night, went 1 for 4 and fell on his ass trying to field a ball in left, and we all laughed at him. Bigger story: Oliver Perez pitching for Harrisburg, and he’s still getting paid by the Mets, right? 5 innings, 1 ER, and he also had a hit and a stolen effin base! Ollie’s still got it.

I may not even wait until Yardwork. I’m so fucking sick of him and Duncan and their holier than thou attitude toward pitching inside.

Let’s start the hate, between that and the trading of Rasmus, it’s time for St. Louis to dump that asshole. Keep Duncan, but TLR needs to be shipped out of town and into an old-folks home in Florida.

If you see Roth’s comment from before, that’s part of it. Last night, Saito hit Pujols unintentionally in the top of the 7th with two on. In the bottom of the inning, TLR had Jason Motte throw at Braun, twice. First time missed him, second time hit him on the upper arm. That and being a drunk, asshole who ran their best positional prospect out of town.

Deflection is not a good argument. I don’t know what the Red Sox midget was measured at before the draft.

But Harper was 6’3″, 205 (the 225 listing now may not be totally accurate, not that it matters). I don’t think he’s shrunk since every MLB team checked him out last year.
