Former Chicago Bulls forward Toni Kukoc has apparently been named as one of the “beneficiaries” in a Croatian prostitution ring. Such chilling allegations could not have happened to a more laid back guy:

“I was in worse situations in life. What should I do? Return home to Split? Of course I will stay in Osijek,” Kukoc told the media after his name emerged in connection with the elite prostitution ring headed by Nebojsa Perunovic Pance, who was arrested last week.

One of the women “in the ring” was supposedly told to offer “services” to Kukoc, though the details of the circumstances remain awfully foggy other than the claim she was gifted 500 Euros for the fun. Kukoc has stated he is not guilty.

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about Toni so at least this news comes with the notion he’s living his retirement to the fullest — allegedly.

The sports world is composed of many characters from all walks of life, but unabashed love of hookers might just be the common thread that weaves them all together.
