I’m not sure that Entourage was ever “funny.” It was interesting the first couple of season because, like it or not, we all like to look down the rabbit hole that is Hollywood behind the scenes-y stuff. All the humor came from Jeremy Piven’s rat-a-tat-tat verbal dexterity. If you read those lines at normal speed they’re not nearly as funny.

it was funny in the first season when they had Jessica Alba playing the character of an A list actress. And I remember the scene in the poolhouse where the girls all wanted to have sex with Vince, and Turtle having to explain to the one that he got stuck with that she was the one that he got stuck with.

Yep. I actually find the Ari/Mrs. Ari storyline the most compelling. I think it got about 3 minutes of screen time last night.

Ari is literally the only interesting thing about that show. I know it’s been that way for a long time but it’s even more apparent now. I used to ocassionally care about the other guys from time to time but not this season. I want to punch E in the fucking face.
