What the fuck happened to this health care bill that was passed 3 years ago? My health insurance premium was just raised a second time this year. I’m now having to pay $160 a month for basic coverage with a $5000 deductible and only 80% coverage.

Warnings were out back then that everyone’s insurance was going higher and coverage was going to be less because of this bill. You can thank Obama for that at election time.

Most provisions don’t become law until 2014, but in the short term it’s likely that employers will post some increased costs onto employees. The long term expectation is for the overall costs of healthcare to go down for everyone.
