Shaq Reportedly Joins TNT’s Broadcast Team
According to several sources including CNBC’s pun-obsessed Darren Rovell, Shaquille O’Neal has agreed to join TNT’s NBA broadcast team. The Big Aristotle will presumably be joining the irreplaceable Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith, and Charles Barkley.
I imagine Shaq’s presence will only improve the already great studio show because, despite being just as expressive as Barkley, his personality and playful brand of humor certainly has its own style. He and Sir Charles should play off each other quite well. I can already see him stealing Ernie’s glasses and encouraging Craig Sager to put all of his suits through a paper shredder.
These quotes are great, particularly the Karl Malone impression including a dig at Ostertag, and “Love Shaq University”:

Will TNT be broadcasting any Euro league games next year in the NBA’s absence? That could make for some great TV

Can’t wait to see Shaq mumbling his way through telecasts.
Also, how can you talk about Shaq and Barkley together and not link to thier epic fight, which is posted in its entirety on You Tube?
