Janks Trotter’s KO of Arturo Crespin
On ESPN2′s Friday Night Fights, Janks Trotter knocked out Arturo Crespin and left him with his face planted on the mat. It’s no spinning backfist, but it gets the job done.
I’m not a habitual boxing enthusiast, but when I see it on, I’ll stop and check it out. Credit where credit is due – Friday night’s card was pretty damn entertaining. In the main event, Jesus Gonzalez outlasted Francisco Sierra in a 12-round war. Look it up on the internet and watch it. There’s blood and knockdowns and all the good stuff you want from a boxing match.

(Pats self on back, Barry Horowitz style.)
And that Trotter KO should definitely get consideration for knockout of the year. This might have been the best FNF of the season thus far.
+1 to CRM for a boxing post not featuring a Mayweather, Pacquiao or how mad everyone is at the state of the heavyweight division.
