Derek Jeter collected hits number 2,999 and 3,000 today against the Tampa Bay Rays in New York. It was a historic day as Jeter became the first Yankee to ever accomplish the feat and the 28th player in baseball history. Jeter hit number 3,000 into the stands off David Price in the bottom of the 3rd. Like I said yesterday, it’s the most important thing in your life right now.
