A-Rod and Christie Brinkley!?

“Wuh-oh! A-Rod linked to supermodel Christie Brinkley at Yankees game, still dating Cameron Diaz,” says the headline for the New York Daily News. Despite negating the entire premise of the story in the headline (and multiple times throughout the article) the Daily News is running with this.

A-Rod was “clearly hitting on” Brinkley. “He told her he was ‘unattached,’” says the source.

Moments later…

A source close to A-Rod confirmed that Brinkley was the third baseman’s guest at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday but said the two “are strictly friends.” The source added: “He has people join him at the game all the time.”

So, basically, Alex Rodriguez flirts with beautiful women and invites people to take free tickets to baseball games that he plays in. Maybe Brinkley was just a month early to see Jeter’s 3000th?

I know. It was more out of spite for Fielder I said it. I hope he enjoys being booed during All Star weekend. Even if it is just me doing so.
