If it wasn’t clear that Rays third baseman Evan Longoria “gets it,” there should be no mistake about it now. My only burning question about the spiffy haircut he debuted last night is, how in the world did it take this long — 22 freaking years — for a Major League Baseball player to pay tribute to the fictitious closer from Major League? One would think Billy Koch would have taken care of this years ago, well before hanging up the spikes in 2004.
