As for the po-po, cars are regarded as private property, but do not have the same protections that private homes have. It’s a gray zone between walking in public (the moment you’re least protected) and being at home in your den (the moment you’re most protected). Generally, the police have to ask for your consent to search your car. If you don’t give it, they can arrest you on suspicion and search your car anyway. They had rather NOT do that because it’s embarrassing when they don’t find anything. DD was well within his rights, and smartly used them.

In a tie game, Florida had the bases loaded and no outs and didn’t score in the 9th, had a guy thrown out at the plate from second on a single in the 10th, and now a SC runner stole second, ball went way into center field, and then the throw to third ended up in the stands…go-ahead run scores from first on a stolen base after two errors. Yikes!

been through three/four field sobriety tests. passed them all. horsehoe/pocket

dirt, we watched almost all of bg, then stopped for some reason once they, um, near the end. but there’s like three side movie things (razor and what else?) and now i can;t rememmber where i should pick it up again.

I still have my brother’s The Wire by my DVD player. Spring/Summer time. All my free time is taking care of the yard or the boy’s t-ball practices. I need a good three day blizzard and I’ll watch it.

/I have never seen Mad Men or GoT. Currently looking forward to the rest of the Wilfred season. I got out of The Killing after episode 104. I just got to accept that I’ll find and invest in good shows and bad shows and take chances on absurd cable comedies. There are a lot of channels out there and I enjoy sitting outside this time of year.
