Vancouver Riots 2011: Unruly Mob Attacks Man Who Tried to Prevent Looting
Vancouver was out of control last night after the Canucks lost the Stanley Cup, and this video goes from bizarre – you’ll note how many young teenagers, for no reason, try to shatter windows of this store – to terrifying. Around the 2:57 mark, a man in a black t-shirt and black hat will appear. He’s trying to prevent the unruly mob from shattering windows in the store. After the man grabs a pole from one of the lunatics at the 3:13 mark, he pushes the man with the pole, and then gets attacked by no fewer than 15 people, who beat and kick him until he’s left in a bloodied heap on the ground.

Only thing more reprehensible than these losers are the ones who will try to downplay this riot as actions of few idiots. Vancouver Police kept asking people to leave so they could start clean up process and identify the rioters from the bystanders. I’m sorry, even if you weren’t the ones directly rioting, you deserve a large portion of the blame for what went down last night. 100 people gathered around to take pictures and videos and make “woo” noise in the background is just as worse as the idiot who was actually burning the car. You are preventing the police and firemen to get to the trouble spot or arrest the culprits.
