Oh, I think the Greyjoys are going to find themselves proper fucked pretty soon now, but not before they cause some major headaches.

I wasn’t a fan of him adding another family’s drama to the mix with all the Greyjoy’s and the Iron Islands.

haven’t read book 4 yet (waiting to read it back to back with 5), but from what i understand is that book 4 is all about the north and book 5 is all about the south, or anyone not talked about in the previous book.

Dany is by far my favorite character in the series so I’m really hoping, considering the title, will feature her a great deal.

Bran is for certain in there. So is Jon, Tyrion, Dany, Davos Seaworth and a few others. I don’t know if Arya will be in there — since she was in Book 4. I hope she is. That cliffhanger was a bit heartbreaking.

The killing of Sansa’s direwolf and the Hound’s murder of Arya’s friend were more towards the middle of the first book, no?

it may have, but i know there was an incredible amount of exposition done in the book that took up a very large number of pages, which were covered very, very quickly in the TV show.

i know the events between direwolf incident and what will come next week took place rather quickly in the books, i think, however, i’m a bit concerned they will drag out the next event for 1 more episode and leave little time to deal with the remainder of the book 1 story.

Yes, but the killing of the direwolf can be laid at the feet of Cersei (she’s the one demanding blood) while the Hound does what all knights do to the common folk. Joffrey’s a brat at that point, but I don’t think you’re supposed to think of him as truly unhinged until he’s crowned — what you get when you put a bully into a position of absolute power.

I just looked up Damages and it is no longer on FX. It’s on DirecTV 101 Network, which I don’t have. I guess this is another Netflix show for me.
