Detlef Schrempf Was Back On Parks & Recreation
Parks and Recreation might be the funniest show on television. Set in Indiana, Parks and Rec takes full advantage of the midwest’s obsession with sports. Earlier this season Ron Swanson channeled Bobby Knight. One of the big “gets” for the Harvest Festival was Larry Bird’s aunt Tilda. Last night, former Indiana Pacers’ small forward Detlef Schrempf made his second cameo.
In case that’s not enough Schrempf for you, here’s a web-only clip that further delves into Entertainment 720.
Feel free to watch the entire episode. And every other episode from season 2 and 3.

Met him once in 1995 in Seattle. Per the usual with NBA players, TV didn’t do him justice. With his size and haircut, dude looked like Frankenstein.

GEORGE: Did anybody see Firestorm?
MR. ROSS: Firestorm, that’s a hell of a picture.
GEORGE: Yeah.
MR. ROSS: Remember when they had the helicopter land on top of that car –
FRANK: Hey! Hey! Come on! Come on! I haven’t seen it yet.
MR. ROSS: It doesn’t have anything to do with the plot!
FRANK: Still! Still! I like to go in fresh

Parks & Rec just isn’t funny, that’s its main problem.
