Agreed. Brooks definitely seems to be in over his head. What I think Westbrook takes a lot of heat for is being a ball hog and selfish, not necessarily running the offense poorly.

Me and my cousin where just discussing this; Westbrook is just as explosive and fast as Derick Rose but he can’t finish as well when his shot is contested.

I think Rose is faster, but it’s close. Rose is always quicker. He glides around the court like a cartoon character.

You can only handle it so many times when he drives 1 on 3, blows the layup, sulks and/or complains to the official, all the while the rebounder has thrown an outlet pass to the opposing PG who runs a 3 on 2 break.

This game reminded me of Alvin Gentry doing the same thing to the Spurs last year.

Yup, that’s the one of the few NBA games I watched last year pre -finals. Stoudemire staying on the bench the whole 4th, Nash for almost 10 minutes and Dragic going bonkers on the Spurs. It was awesome.
