There is no offseason in MMA so there are non-stop news and rumors to talk about. Unfortunately, we don’t have room to cover half that stuff on TBL. In an effort to help cover the MMA world more comprehensively, I’m going to start compiling interesting and noteworthy stuff and putting it here every couple days. We start with the greatest stare-down in MMA history.

Tito Ortiz paid the $500,000 bond of Keith Harriman who is “facing 12 felony counts connected to a plot to have his 27-year-old son killed.” Harriman’s brother Wayne helped reconcile the relationship between Tito and Dana White that brought Ortiz back to the UFC.

Harriman’s son was shot nine times in August last year as he stood outside the used car dealership he worked at with his uncle, Harriman’s brother. He claims his father has a serious crack cocaine addiction and that the shooting was part of a scam claiming a $160,000 insurance payout for robbery.

I’m sure this won’t be a distraction for Tito as he prepares for his July 2nd fight against Ryan Bader. Then again, would it matter? [Cage Writer]

Gina Carano has an opponent. Carano will fight Sarah D’Alelio on June 18th at Strikeforce: Overeem vs. Werdum. It’s nice that Gina is finally back, but what’s more interesting is that this will be the first women’s fight ever on a Zuffa card.
