Yankees – Red Sox Minor League Basebrawl!
Here’s a little brawl between the Charleston RiverDogs (Yankees) and Greenvile Drive (Red Sox). The fight started when Drive pitcher Miguel Celestino threw at the head of Yankee prospect Slade Heathcott with the second pitch of the game. The RiverDogs won 6-2. [River Ave Blues via Twitter]

Yesterday was the first time since opening day the Yankees had a sell-out. Yankee Nation is not supporting their team!

Even their minor league games get more coverage than 26 MLB teams.

I happened to read this article about Heathcott last night after a Yankee beat writer tweeted it. Check it

Slade Heathcott played football. This was nothing for him. He pulled a move like that former Red Sox psycho who karate kicked the catcher before he went after the pitcher. Awesome job, Slade. Did anyone else notice Escobar trying to stomp on Heathcott when there was nothing but Red Sox players around? Why is it always a Latino guy who has to fight like a bitch? Yes, I’m looking at YOU, Pedro and Johnny Cueto.
