I thought the 3rd number in a slash line was OPS, not SLG?? Anyway, Hanley’s SLG is .263.

I guess the real point you’re trying to make though is that he is actually the same guy from last year, which may very well be true. However, his current numbers are actually better than they were at this point 2 years ago when he ended up with a .334 avg. So really, its still too early to make any conclusions. Obviously, Jeter is on the decline and nobody disputes that, but my previous post shows that he’s still one of the better SS’s. Not one of the 2 or 3 elites, but in the Top 5 discussion.

You should compare him to all the other SS in the league. He’s not what he used to be for sure, but sadly he’s actually a Top 5 SS. SS isn’t a hitter’s position in today’s game. Tulo is great. Hanley SHOULD be great, but has actually been worse than Jeter so far (.195/.291/.554). Your boy Jed is certainly showing some promise and Starlin Castro has hit for good avg with no power. Other than that, SS’s can’t hit a lick.

Regarding Henry is a good movie. Though I would assert that his acting before he gets shot is way more out of character, and thus impressive, than his character after he gets shot.
