Fox Sports May Lose Jeff Goodman to CBS Sports

Media Shakeup: According to a source, there’s about to be a massive shakeup in the tiny media world of college basketball. A source says that Jeff Goodman, the lead college basketball writer at Fox Sports, is set to leave and take a job at rival CBS Sports. I reached out to Goodman, who would only say, “I’m under contract at Fox Sports and I love it here.” At CBS, Goodman would team with the other college basketball writer who breaks the majority of transfers/hires/fires/news, Gary Parrish. They would form a stronger news-breaking tandem than the Forde/Katz/O’Neil triumvirate at ESPN. I imagine the lure of potential TV-time at CBS is probably an attractive one for Goodman.

Parrish and Goodman kill each other all the time on Twitter. Be interesting to see if that was a front or, if they do hate each other, whether they can get along.
