I’m definitely a lurker. Would comment more but I don’t have a job where I can monitor the site and make curent comments either. So I wind up being that guy who comment on a thread hours after it died. Like now.

My philosophy thus year for the Texans was BPA by need. In every other year it would be from the lines out.

how many of you picked because what of yer own philospophy and how many like mantis, the way he thought the coach/gm would do it?

I based upon my own philosophy and partially Andy’s. Build around the lines. And the fact that the OL was awful for Vick last year.

how come there are so many drafters whose names i’ve never seen on here?
I don’t always comment on TBL. But when I do, I prefer to do commenter mock drafts.

Hey, I’m here while the thread is still going, I think! It makes me sad that all those Hurricanes guys are in the second round and none in the first. Somebody will take Hank (#49 would be spectacular value for him) on Thursday night, I’m 10% sure of it. I’d be surprised to have Bailey go that high at this point but he’s a little bit of a name pick. Maybe the Raiders will reach for him. I think he’ll be good. Brandon Harris sucks, so he’ll probably be the one to go in the 1st round

I just realized that in this mock, Breesus drafted first a QB, and then another multi-faceted slot guy. Not a lick of defense.
Funny, because I wouldn’t put that past the organization. If they consistently give up more than 30, try to consistently score more than 40.

nope. At least half those guys were “lurkers” who jumped at a chance to be included. Which is totally cool. I hope they feel free to comment more freely and more often going forward. Except Jason Elston, Mr fancy pants Mailer daemon.

I’m with you… a lot I think are commenters who have changed names, and some are real names I know by commenter names only.

Either way, the worst part of the draft was organizing the word.doc and the gf comes in and I explain to her that I’m helping do a 2nd round of a mock draft with a bunch of people I don’t know. She wasn’t impressed.

Oh what WWS, you don’t enjoy the potty training dialogue?

We had a party last night and someone brought three young kids who then weren’t watched, and proceeded to start breaking things. I’m still a few years from that.

there was no chicago drafter. Hawkeye (a minny fan) drafted their first rounder, and Lisk had to draft their second rounder because nobody else would, as hawkeye was golfing.
