Brandon Roy Destroys the Dallas Mavericks in the 4th Quarter, Portland Wins Stunner
Brandon Roy went from playing just eight minutes and shedding tears after a game two loss to the Dallas Mavericks to scoring 24 points and being the hero in a memorable game four victory. The series is tied at two.
Portland missed its first 14 shots of the third quarter and fell behind by 23 points at home, and a 3-1 series deficit appeared inevitable. Then Roy, Portland’s hobbled superstar – he has no cartilage in either knee – took over, scoring 18 points in the fourth quarter to cap one of the best playoff rallies in NBA history. Roy’s 4-point play tied the game and his bank shot on a runner with :40 left won the game. Jason Terry got a good 3-point look for the win, but missed.

You can see me jumping up and behind the basket in that video. Best game I have ever attended. Well, the fourth quarter at least. The first three were pretty sorry.

Damn, Fan’s Attic. You picked a good one. That’s an all-time NBA playoff game. Incredible rally. I only saw the 2nd half, but what a performance

Saw TBL’s tweet about Horry beating Sac at buzzer being better than Game 7 LA-Port in his opinion, need to consider circumstances don’t ya, down 15 in 4th after blowing 3-1 series lead.

So yeah, Mavs dont let Dirk shoot the ball in the last few minutes, instead deferring to shooting deep bombs with Terry and Kidd. They deserve to lose.

incredible comeback. Good for Roy, who seems like a legitimately good dude. Love seeing guys like that succeed.

JHS
I don’t like your 2nd round Leo’s pick. Fuck that guy.

I’m a huge Brandon Roy fan. Guy was turning into one of the better players in the league, but his body is betraying him. He is also one of the good guys off the court.
/fuck the spurs

As I asked on Twitter, imagine a Western Conference 2nd round made of Grizzlies, Blazers, Thunder and Hornets?
Would make for some fun games.

Mcdyess looks like he is hurt badly. Which is a shame because him and Tim Duncan are the only respectable players on that team. The rest are a bunch of faggy, foreign, flopping, bitches.

Maybe LeShore, that UNC LB or a CB.
April 23rd, 2011 at 10:15 PM
I was debating between CB and LB, went LB. I think Leshore was taken at that point. I’m fine with Jahvid Beast and Mo Maurice/Kevin Smith at runningback.

Wow! What a dumb way to end that game Spurs! You HAD a time out!
April 23rd, 2011 at 10:18 PM
I think Mo Morris is an illusion and didn’t they cut Kevin Smith? He sucks.
