Bobby V & Marv Albert Debut Matching Hair Frosts
All, Baseball, Goooooood Morning Sports Hernia, Hair issues, NBA April 18th. 2011, 7:45am
Whether or not Marv Albert has thrown the begs of his soul onto the Just For Men wagon, or whether Bobby Valentine’s attempts to look a lot like Marv are genuine, I strongly believe that these two clowns have stolen hair from sitcom legend, Alf. On that swirly note, good morning. [via Mocksession]

Where is our Boston Marathon preview? Oh, ok… Ryan Hall = American mens best hope but split with his trainer, citing fatigue and overtraining, and in his last half marathon, was 3 minutes off his record-setting pace a few years ago that got him famous. A later addition to the field is Brett Gotcher, who ran a fast marathon debut in 2010, but probably won’t have much of a chance, given the difficulty of the Boston race. Other than that? a bunch of Kenyans/Ethiopians are the favorites, including Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot, the defending champion.
Most famous American woman had a baby less than a year ago and it’s questionable if she’s in top shape. Blake Russell and Desiree Davila (fastest in US last year) are other top Americans with a shot at the title.
And for the hockey crowd, I don’t think any Canadians made it this year. Bummer.

Kara Goucher was the first American woman referenced… sorry. Trying to quick type it up and fact-check before I flew off to meetings.
HAPPY PATRIOTS DAY, EVERYBODY!!!!

Who will do worse today, Americans at the Boston marathon, or Dice-K?

I’m just in it for the Wellesley girls…
At least Beckett looks like he may be a legit 3rd starter. Even Dice doesn’t bother me as much as Lackey though, but it is an insult to start Dice on Patriots Day. As much as I give Francona a pass, it is inexcusable, especially given what Red Sox fans have been through.
