2011 NBA Playoffs: Hornets at Lakers
The big men for the New Orleans Hornets are Emeka Okafor, David Andersen, DJ Mbenga, Jason Smith and graceful hoops magician, Aaron Gray. Other than Okafor, I would feel infinitely more comfortable if it were Lionel Hutz and his trusty staff defending the likes of Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom. This one could get messy in a hurry. On the bright side, at least members of the Hornets who will be experiencing their first dip in the playoffs are happy to be here, but I’m guessing they would prefer to be getting a lap dance from Nicki Minaj, like Chris Paul did:

What a finish, there have been five games played now this weekend and the worst involved Dwight Howard going off for 46-19
April 17th, 2011 at 4:03 PM
I agree, best start to the NBA playoffs that I’ve maybe ever watched. Entertaining all weekend.

The problem with the NBA playoffs isn’t that the games are dull, usually, it’s the fact that we won’t see game 2 of these series until May
April 17th, 2011 at 4:35 PM
Wow. What a crazy last few seconds of the half
April 17th, 2011 at 4:36 PM
Jimmie Johnson just won Talledega by .002 seconds.

Hornets may still lose, but damn it they’re a better team than the f’ing Pacers.
April 17th, 2011 at 5:57 PM
Never said the Pacers and Hornets were equal in terms of talent…
Just said this game has that ending to it.

These State Farm commercials are some of the dumbest I’ve ever seen. I hate every single one of them.

I think the one with the asian dudes and the buffalo herd was amusing. That’s it. These things ought to have the kind of cleverness those Old Spices ads have. But they’ve managed to waste Bob Barker and Lumberg from Office Space. For shame.

CP3.
Also, WTF Pau??
April 17th, 2011 at 6:01 PM

April 17th, 2011 at 6:01 PM
Was Kobe grabbing onto Jacks ankle there?
April 17th, 2011 at 6:02 PM
I’m happy to see Jack doing well.
Kobe faltered with 5 mins left.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:03 PM
I think Lakes spped playing team ball when CP3 started going nuts.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:04 PM
Cmon Magic, keep telling us how Kobe is the best closer in the game…
He had chances in the last 3-4 minutes of this game.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:05 PM
I’m happy to see Jack doing well.
Remember, Happy Jack wasn’t tall but he was a man.

April 17th, 2011 at 6:06 PM
God I hate Mark Jackson. Just STFU with all your hyperbolic bullshit.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:07 PM
Kobe was the only reason the Lakers were even IN the game man. Him and Ron were the only ones playing well.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:08 PM
34 points on 50% shooting, and the only other help he had was Ron fucking Artest. This game was over well before crunch time.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:08 PM
Oh no doubt, Kobe had a good game. He just didnt get much help.
/love to rag on Kobe anytime I can
April 17th, 2011 at 6:09 PM
Karma,
It was a 6 point game with 3 minutes to go. Where was Kobe time?
Dont give me this bullshit it was over before then.
April 17th, 2011 at 6:11 PM
CP3 happened, an based on his supporting cast pussy effort, Kobe tried to take over and failed.
