As a law student, I have to commend your use of the word “prurient.”

At the end of the day “faggot” is just a word. I realize that to many people of all sexual persuasions it’s offensive. But are people really that surprised that a pro athlete used a naughty word in the heat of battle? If homophobia and foul language bother people that much, pro sports (or any level of athletics) might not be your cup of tea.

I agree with this, and I also agree with the fact Kobe has been reprimanded for his abusive language, and the message being sent that this abusive language will lead to consequences.

Ha my bad…I was just making fun of Ballz calling me an idiot the other day because I thought Kobe should be held accountable for this. Among his reasoning was that there are a lot of people in this country that hate gays a lot more than Kobe hates gays.

Another illuminating reason was that Kobe was made – and rightfully so!

My TV station won’t let us show images of needles being injected to skin. This was especially weird during flu shot season.
