Hawks – Magic, Blazers – Mavs and Much More
Atlanta begins their latest playoff run against Orlando. The last two season Atlanta won their first round series in 7 games before moving on to be swept in the second. Will a rejuvenated Joe Johnson actually lead the Hawks past the Magic? Or are the Hawks ready to lay down and die in the first round again?
Later tonight, it’s Portland – Dallas. Are we looking at Dirk’s last run? Was Gerald Wallace the piece that can take Portland to another level? These are some subjects I considered writing about.
For the hockey fans, Versus has a double-header tonight with Montreal – Boston at 7 and LA – San Jose at 10. And there’s a Bellator event on MTV2. And assorted baseball contests. Big night for sports! Enjoy.

With only 2 minutes left in the first quarter Dwight is the only Magic player to score.
Somehow they’re only down 3.

I had 8 bucks in my Full Tilt Poker account. Anyone else lose money?

The NBA playoffs are dirt until the conference finals. The favorites will advance. Pure trash. At least the NHL is competitive.

It would be soooooo much better if they changed the 1st round back to best of five. It might take out 6 months of the nba playoffs.

I wonder if the NBA stretches out the first round so they stay away from the NHL teams who share arenas?

Yeah, I didn’t realize they froze the poker money so the sites can’t pay out even if they wanted to. Must really be bad for the high stakes players who have to have huge accounts and a good night for them leaves a ton of money in there.
also reading comments, I was surprised that people play online poker for a living so they are really stuck now. I played for a while a few years ago and really sucked at it. Not only was I bad but I was usually doing something else at the same time which isn’t a good idea

The NBA stretches shit out because the NHL is incompetent.

Some of those guys are nuts playing up to 8 games at once. I have a hard time concentrating on one.

I made about $6500 in 2010 playing 9 tables at once on my laptop roughly 1-2 hours a day. Any great player could have destroyed me, but I just took advantage of low stakes garbage.

I find it much easier to tell whether to fold, raise or call when I can see the other peoples cards like on tv

Go Kings go. Take em to 7 and beat the shit out of the Sharts. BTW, I just watched that 3rd period. Just checked the box score. Other than the mandatory 2 min penalty for over the glass, there was only ONE penalty called against the Kings and that was in the first minute of play. WTF NHL, I guess only the Wings are subject to the “lets keep this game close” rule. Again, fuck Bettman and the NHL. In the Wings last 7 playoff games they have had to defend a 3v5.
