If the Feds are coming after you with a perjury charge for lying about drugs, and they aren’t able to convict you on perjury, it’s a victory, period.

In truth, the legal “analysis” linked in those 2 posts was weak and NOTHING more than the exact same analysis/explanation Munson provided, only if it were provided by a left-wing former defense attorney. The real truth is that the judge in ANY criminal case has as big of an impact on the outcome as the lawyers. Judges rule on objections to admissibility of evidence throughout almost every trial, including motions in limine. The same piece of evidence might be excluded by one judge as not being “reliable” enough to be allowed, while another judge will say the objection goes to “weight” not admissibility. Meaning it’s up to the jury to decide if that evidence is reliable and to what extent. You have a left-wing judge appointed by a left-wing president, you get one outcome. You have right-wing judge appointed by a right-wing president, you get another outcome. It all depends on a SINGLE judge’s opinion.

Furthermore and finally, it was not a “victory” for Bonds’ legal team. At best, it was a draw. Bonds was not found innocent or “not guilty” on the three perjury charges. It was a hung jury. In a criminal trial, that could mean ONE JUROR out of twelve wouldn’t vote guilty. Just ask Ron and Nicole whether OJ really did it.

In terms of what? I think most would agree that Under Siege is by far his best “movie” movie. Andrew Davis, Tommy Lee Jones, etc. Easily the most credible. But I agree, Hard to Kill brings it. Especially when he trades the bullet-riddle jeep straight up.

Agreed completely with the Under Seige thought. I ranked them based on the enjoyment I get out of watching them. For a time, I even named my wang Mason Storm.

Damn. I do like that movie. I always forget he’s in that one since he’s not in it for very long. I’d throw that in the top 4 easily. Probably better than Under Seige.
