Brady’s parents were being supportive on what was probably one of his worst days. Don’t see anything wrong with getting emotional about it. It likely has a lot more to do with his relationship with his parents than anything else.
Bottom line is he’d busted his ass just to get a shot at becoming an NFL QB….and he was watching the whole thing slip away.
Funniest past was he and his Dad’s disbelief that Spurgeon Wynn, with his 47% completion rate and 12 TD’s /13 INT’s, went ahead of him.
