I believe Nazr Mohammed has won a playoff series, and maybe won a ring. I agree it’s silly to say the Thunder are the favorites to win the title, but they are at least legit contenders post-Perkins trade.

Unfortinately, I think the Lakers are in for quite a surprise this year in the playoffs…

Bench isn’t playing as well as they were at the beginning of the year, Pau still disappears during games defense has looked spotty the last 2 weeks and OKC, and Denver are looking really good.

Karma, after LeBron made his infamous preseason debut with Bosh and DWade, everybody here said it reminded them of the nWo. Somebody found a YouTube video with the nWo theme on it and layered it over the Heat introduction video. We blasted LeBron and Co., applauded Durant for making his contract extension announcement in a very simple and quiet fashion and said he was the good guy. We then spent the next several hours trying to find appropriate wrestling comparisons for other stars in the NBA.It was good times.

Agreed, except that instead of 9 games in 15 days like the FIBA worlds (Durant MVP), the playoffs are 9 games in two months.

Except that the grind I referred to was more mental than physical. Youngsters like KD probably are better suited to 9 games in 15 days, while 2 games a week greatly benefits Spurs/Lakers/Celtics.
