I don’t know a lot about golf/golf preparation, but I don’t think you get better by trying “harder.” I think that’s how you get worse.

of any sport, i think basketball players would adjust the best to golf even moreso than baseball players. you can kinda see that with former basketball players dustin johnson, gary woodland and jeff quinney on tour.

because it’s a completely different set of skills. You don’t think golfers could be tennis players, or tennis players could be bicycle racers, right?

But to leave millions on the table as part of a title team to go be a PGA tourer? That’s what keeps them away.

probably…but then again, the top 150 on the tour make RIDICULOUS money that they can make well into their 40′s, hell, even 50′s with the champions tour.

depends on how you define pretty far. Failed to qualify in his section (with much fanfare) while wearing a butthurt hat (ftmfw) is pretty far, I guess. He made sportscenter two or three years in a row while failing to qualify.

Can’t see why not. The one trait all top athletes share is a superhuman belief in their abilities. The idea that they can’t do something is anathema to them.

he’s aight. i think he gets overrated when talking about athlete golfers tho…i bet faulk or sterling sharpe could get him by a few holes.

he’ll probably have to settle for a small contract from a contender who wants a veteran presence.

Contenders will welcome his leadership and winning attitude.
