Masters Sunday: Rory McIlroy’s Coronation?
The 2011 is officially Rory McIlroy’s to lose. After an even front 9 and a bogey on 10, Rory McIlroy finished solid, if not strong, on Saturday to take a four stroke lead going into the final round. Jason Day, Charl Schwartzel, K.J. Choi and Angel Cabrera all sit 4 strokes back at -8. Luke Donald and Adam Scott are also “close enough” at -7, but the truth is, we’re watching Rory McIlroy’s stroll in the park today. He’s got a 4-stroke lead – the biggest after 54 holes since another 21 year old in 1997 – at the Masters and is a few long hours from his first Green Jacket.

And just like that, Rory bogeys 1 and hits the lip of a fairway bunker on the easy No. 2.

Eat shit and die.
Signed Red Wings fan
p.s.
In 3 of the games the Wings played the hawks, the Wings had ONE powerplay in total.

Clearly, Dwight Howard is MUCH more valuable to the Magic than Rose is to the Bulls.

I hope Tiger completes the comeback and celebrates by “pulling a Fredo.”

I haven’t seen Day make a good shot/putt yesterday or today.

I’d like to nominate Katrina Bowden for the next several Round-Ups.

I am an admitted golf hater, but even I’m watching to see what Tiger does.

This is pretty funny to re-read. Not sure if it was tongue-in-cheek, or if CRM just really forgot everything we actually know about young players in big leads at the majors…
