The casinos never move and they’re usually on some sort of channel where they’re not at risk for waves. The Blue Chip in Michigan City, IN is in a marina that’s about a mile away from the lake.

According to Simmons’ basketball book, they built a lake and a man made island in the middle of it for the casino. Quite clever. He brought this up while making the case for his new Hall of Fame to be placed in Indiana.
