Pete Rose should be in the Hall of Fame with a huge plaque that says all his asshole accomplishments including fucking up Ray Fosse in an All-Star game and betting on baseball with a single sentence that states when he retired he had the most hits of all players to ever play the game. Then they can use the same thing for Barry Bonds and his steroid use with the end line being he hit the most home runs in baseball.

The only thing he’s missing is the lap dog that shits on the Astroturf.
The SI Profile on her in the mid 90s (1995 maybe?) was so entertaining to read. I especially liked the part where she ran into Chris Sabo on the field and made him promise to her dog that the Reds would win that day.

What criticism? The ESPN guys are falling over themselves to spout how much they love him and say that any team that passes on him is a total idiot.
Bloggers’ criticism? All I’ve read is comparisons to Tebow and Vince Young — not the greatest but nothing like Ryan Mallett getting compared to Ryan Leaf.
