Rich Hale’s Inverted Triangle and The Korean Zombie’s Twister Submissions
Rich Hale pulled off a rare inverted triangle last night in Bellator’s light heavyweight tournament quarterfinals. The most impressive part of the entire thing is that Hale is a former professional boxer. They’re usually the ones getting caught in weird positions. Speaking of rare submissions …
Chan Sung Jung pulled off a twister submission on Leonard Garcia in a rematch of 2010′s Fight of the Year. It was sweet revenge for The Korean Zombie who was robbed of a decision victory when these two slugged it out last year. As Joe Rogan points out, this is the first successful twister in UFC history.

Both submissions were sick. I don’t think I’ll ever see another twister submission. But I also never even knew it existed. I won’t act like Goldberg who pretended that he knew.
Side note: Phil Davis seems like a good dude.
