Can’t believe I missed this. Jays projected rotation in the write-up is missing Brandon Morrow, which is kind of a big deal.

Fixed that. He was in the original, not sure what happened.

I wouldn’t get too high on Jenks – he’ll rip your heart out and then complain that he stinks cause he’s not playing enough… He’s a me-first meathead, who’s not as good as the other overrated me-first, meathead on that squad: Papsmear McAnusFace.

Yes, that’s juvenile, but a combination of being a Yankees fan and certain players I just can’t stand = stupid juvenile nickname. Papelbon is way up on that list.

As a sox fan, I’m not happy with Dan Wheeler on my team. He hasn’t been good since he was on the Astros team that made the world series a few years ago. I’ve watched him implode in Tampa the past two years so I am confused by that signing. Also not confident in the catcher spot with Saltalamacchia and the old man, but Theo may make a deal come July. Having Aceves and Jenks in the pen with bard and papelbon helps a hell of a lot.

93-95 wins takes the division.

I can not wait to see how low Adrian Gonzalez BA goes this year. It will be magical. Who will be responsible for more HRs on the Red Sox this year, Adrian Gonzalez or Dan Wheeler? Don’t worry about Hellickson, the only thing holding him back is an innings count. But the O’s winning the division with 95 wins is the real story here.

Was this entire comment littered with sarcasm? You are looking at Gonzalez suffering with a better lineup around him but the Orioles with strikeout machine Reynolds and the spry Vlad/Lee combo getting +29 wins from last year. Got it.

Wait, pitching counts too? Go Birds.

I’m on that. I think Lackey/Beckett/Dice are all overpaid trash. I’d be shocked if more than one of them had a sub-4.00 ERA

Ha! Offerman wasn’t that bad after his disastrous early career. He was an above average player even if he was one of the most over-valued prospects of all time. Looking back it’s hard to imagine what was really expected of him. Was he supposed to be a good defensive SS in the minors?
