LaGreca was the one who arranged for all the Rangers stuff (including the personalized jersey with #47; it’s an ongoing gag on the show that they started off in 1947 for some reason I have never understood). Kay also used to work for MSG with Al Trautwig – that’s why Al’s having some fun with Kay in that interview.
And I was at the game – during the intermissions, a lot of people went over to him to take photos – he took every single one. The white helmet really stood out – you could see him from anywhere in the arena.

SouvenirCity – neither Kay or Dubinsky is jewish. (and Kay didn’t make or pick the jersey….)
