Dez Bryant Kicked Out of Dallas Mall For Wearing Pants Too Low
Yes, this actually happened. Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant and three friends were given a criminal trespass warning for what police termed “wearing their pants halfway down their hips exposing their underwear” in a Dallas mall. Police claim they asked Bryant and Co. to pull their pants up, leading Bryant to respond with a “profanity-laced” tirade. He has been banned from the mall for 90 days.
A News 8 source quoted this exchange.
“What the [expletive] are you stopping me, like I stole something,”…”I’m not leaving until my attorney and my representative get here.”
Police mentioned a pattern of annoying incidents including “a major disturbance at a restaurant,” “a parking offense” and (gasp!) cutting in line at the Apple Store. It doesn’t matter who you are. You wait until that Genius Bar wrangler beckons.
Bryant certainly comes off as a nogoodnik here, but does Texas have a law dictating you can’t wear low-slung pants? Is it really a police officer’s job to enforce dress code? Do they enforce the “coke can rule” for skirt length?

Lots of people have sagging pants laws, especially enforced at malls, because we all know the types that hang out at malls. And by types I mean Dez Bryants.

Cam Newton doesn’t even wear pants when he goes to the mall.

I hope this is your feeble attempt at humor.

Feeble, sure. But malls generally do scare or shock or at the very lease annoy the shit out of me, mostly because of the people who inhabit them.

I’ve been sent, to spread the message….. God Bless Texas.

Dez Bryant is an excellent football player but he is also an imbecile.

To be fair, this has happened to all of us at least once.

This law is long past due. Ive suffered my whole life seeing boxer shorts butt at the mall.

I’m amazed that some of you still go to the mall. Doesn’t everyone pretty much just shop online now? I was never one to hang out in the mall anyways. In, purchase, out.
I mean… there’s people at the mall. I don’t want to deal with people.

pick you battles, dez. fucking dipshit.

Sometimes, I just need a Wetzel Pretzel and/or an orange julius.
I like shopping and making sure stuff fits when I need new clothes. Nothing worse than seeing something online, hating it, and then having to return it and wait for something else or deciding you don’t like it anymore.

Many malls and entertainment districts have dress codes. This is nothing new.

I was once denied entrance into a bar in Bloomington, IN because I didn’t have a collared shirt. They said it wasn’t proper “club attire”. I reminded them they were in Bloomington, IN and there isn’t such a thing as “clubbing” here.

If that is true I never want to see another dipshit on Heelys ever again. My dream is to clothesline them all.

35/36 & 16.5 shirts. 34×36 pants. XL for the other stuff.
The only thing I won’t buy online is shoes. I have to make sure they’re comfortable and fit. Clothes I just buy online. I also only buy new stuff like once a year. I’m like Draper with work clothes. There’s 3 pressed white shirts in the bottom drawer of my desk and 4 more in my closet. I don’t wear ties, either. Maybe change it up twice a week with a blue or red shirt.
I’m no JCK. No argyle for this guy. The pants make the man, anyways.

How are you suppose to keep ‘em in line with all the Jim Crowe laws repealed?

Does Duffy also write for worldbestsports.com? I was googling “coke can rule” and found this article: http://worldbestsports.com/dez-bryant-kicked-out-of-dallas-mall-for-wearing-pants-too-low/3041/
It appears to be a sttraight copy-paste of this article.
