Canada’s TSN2 Switches From March Madness To Women’s Curling
Curling vs. March Madness – According to Twitter (here, here, here) TSN2 (That’s Canadian for “ESPN2″) cut coverage short of one of the late NCAA Tournament games second half to show the Women’s World Curling Championships. If true, this is truly one of the most Canadian programming decisions of all time. Not that I blame them. I miss curling so much that sometimes it’s tough to get through the day. (Twitter)

ESPN is having a vote on the next Madden cover. Somehow Tebow is an option in its bracket.

Nothing to see here, move along.
Seriously though, if you have basic cable in Canada you’re getting most of the games.

I do miss women’s curling. I watched it constantly last year while recovering from an appendectomy.

Very true. I’d say coverage of March Madness in Canada is actually growing, with more Canadians playing for various schools.
OT:
Malhotra not returning to the Canucks for the season or playoffs. That sucks.

Just saw that Bstr, that’s a huge loss. Condolences.

That does suck. I was disappointed when he left the Sharks.

The Canadian skip we affectionately named the Cougler is most definitely missed

I’m not sure how they’re going to replace him come playoff time to be honest. Big concern.
There’s a lot of concern going around that his injury could be something that affects him the rest of his life. When it comes to eye injuries I really hope that’s not the case.

Not true. If you live in Toronto and had only basic cable it was impossible to see the late games. TSN2 only.
First time I’ve ever experienced this for the tournament. Weekly occurrence for Raptor’s games.
/fuck TSN
//Double fuck TSN2

Fair enough. I live in the west (MST).

i’m sure sanchize will make it all the way to the semi finals on the backs of his defenders, but fall short once the fans brace themselves for defeat instead of voting.

I love how they say “YOU CAN CHOOSE!” and then they give you a list of players that they decided you can choose from. What if I wanted to choose somebody that they decided I can’t choose?

Prevents a dipshit internet movement to get some long snapper on there or something…they still have a game to market once the voting is done

But I want to choose Clay Matthews, but he’s not worthy. Tim Tebow is.
