All, College Basketball, Television, Video March 20th. 2011, 2:42pm
Title is straight-forward. Greg did work for ESPN as a reporter, Sportscenter anchor and play-by-play guy from 1979 to 1988. [Video via Mocksession]

Jim Nantz would never pull that kinda stunt.

The pagentry. The prestige. A network like no other. ESP…I mean, CBS.

Wish it was all on ESPN…

How does he do that?
March 20th, 2011 at 3:05 PM
Probably too many ‘talking heads’ on the CBS set…and he got caught up in the moment trying to think about what to say next.

Whoever came up with this new schedule is a fucking moron. Shit was perfect the way it was, dipshits. No reason there should only be one game on right now. Idiots.

Concur – the fact that the ND game won’t end until midnight on a Sunday (ET) is ridiculous.

Michigan just got away with a ‘gift’ from the officials with the bench warning instead of the T on Beilein. I think Duke gets as many calls as anyone, but the U of M fouls so far have been pretty cut/dry.

The last 2 on Morris were complete garbage. Those 2 fouls will change the game. Morris is their sole ball handler.

What the hell?!
Its a Sunday and there are 8 games and most of them are at nite?
I like the 4 separate channel thing but that is ridiculous.
I mean it’s almost 3pm here and only one game has been completed?

Here’s Cooke’s dirty hit from the Pens game – no excuse for this crap. Wait until the replay at about the :30 mark to see the extended elbow to the head.

That’s what I said yesterday – 2 games before 5 pm Eastern time? If you don’t like either game that much, isn’t it tempting to take the daytime off from viewing? Before they went 1-2-3-2 or something like that and there was always a game worth watching on. Big mistake by CBS – plus the midnight ending

Also there shouldn’t be a 9 am west coast time game on Sunday

So this guy – John Adams – is the rules czar for CBS? Rick Pitino just threw him a big bone….

Hasn’t he worked for CBS Sports (college basketball, college football, NFL) for a decade now?
March 20th, 2011 at 4:28 PM
Probably, slipped through my limited memory.

4th on Singler — bad call — but still.
