The Positives of a Lockout
Former player looks at positives of a lockout: Nate Jackson, a wide receiver with the Denver Broncos from 2003-2008, wrote about some of the positives that could come from the lockout. While I don’t think the length of a lockout will be enough to have an impact on player independence or health, he does raise some interesting points. Why do so many players struggle after football? Jackson thinks less is more, and thinks the “player development” employee that takes care of all off-field issues has the opposite role, keeping players ”in a perpetual state of adolescence and guarantee[ing] that he will be unprepared for life outside of it. I’m in support of Oakland being the only team from Michigan to make the tournament…looked like an NIT game in Ann Arbor today

Sparty has no business in the Tourney barring a B1G tourney title. And I don’t see that happening.

shouldn’t bob knight watch his peese and cues? i mean, he couldn’t have been set up for life with what he made from coaching, even considering all the radio/tv show money. his last gig at tt may have paid a million, but none of his indiana years did, did they?

For such a smart guy, it sure takes you a lot of words to say “you are stupid.”
You must be bitter about your droopy eyed armless children.
