I’d like to change my opinion where I said the owners were just using the 18 game threat to get what they want and that they couldn’t possibly think it was a good idea. Instead, I now think that we will see 18 games, because they players won’t give up money to stay at 16.

Players sacrifice their health, welfare, and future in order to make money, and will sacrifice more of same to get more money. Owners are going to rake it in, and players will increase playing time by 12.5%, but only see a few percent more revenue. And ticket prices will still go up. So…. yeah owners = greedy bastards

every elite qb in the league is either shifty or can flat out run. flacco’s a statue back there and often times cant feel the rush before it’s too late.

that said, he’s still young. he has weapons, just needs to be more decisive.
