Kevin Garnett Continues Adding To His Punk Legacy
Kevin Garnett was fouled hard by J.J. Barea last night. Did I say hard? I meant he was wrapped up on a fast break and he tried to show Barea. Then when the referees tried to break up the scuffle that Garnett tried to start, he tried to push the referee away. Don’t expect an apology from Garnett. Channing Frye isn’t getting one.
We ”played a back-to-back in Phoenix. This game was physical as well and super ugly. I never apologize for my actions, as I play with passion. I actually got ejected for (the ref said) ‘talking too much.’ Can you believe that?
When he does pick on someone his own size, its with a cheap shot. And being Kevin Garnett means never having to say you’re sorry. Even if a rookie scores on you in practice and you crack him in the jaw.
So will the league step up and fine Garnett? You also have to love the little extra asshole flourish at the end of the Mavs video as the referee is walking along Garnett asking for the basketball, Garnett ignores him, keeps walking and then drops the ball and walks away. What’s not to love?

Garnett is a punk.
He solidified it with me during Bulls/Celts playoffs a few years back when he was on bench in street clothes talking shit.
Should be fined for handling refs like that.

He’s become an absolute joke. He’s one of the few athletes that I actually despise watching, because he’s such a jagoff.
One of these days-maybe soon-Garnett is going to be Rudy Tomjonavich to someone else’s Kermit Washington. I mean, you can’t be this much of a douche to *everyone* in the Association and not have that karma catch up to you at some point, right?

He should definitely have to write a check for that. He has the demeanor of a man who has had his ass kissed his entire life.

professor, what’s another name for pirate treasure?
anyway, the main difference is that kermit didn’t punch rudy because he was a jag. it was pure animal from the streets instincts
/now who else wanna fuck wit hollywood court?

According to one of the SC anchors, Roman Luongo now plays for the Canucks.

Can someone please sign Laimbeer or Rick Mahorn to a 10 day contract so that the KG problem can be handled already?

Garnett loves picking on point guards.
What a douche.

It seems like if the so called KG problem could be solved by the players it would have been by now after all these years. Sometimes the people who talk shit can actually back it up and tap that jaw for you too.

BFR, who is gonna give up half their salary just to punch Garnett in the face? I mean I would, but NBA players have entourages to feed.

played 2 hrs of hoops this AM and there were nearly 2 fights (none involving me). If KG were in either of them, there would have been blood

It’s amazing how quickly he went from being a guy I liked and rooted for when on the T-wolves to being a complete and utter despicable asshole. Plus he’s on the Celtics with one of the more underrated assholes in the league – Pierce. Such an unlikeable team.
February 5th, 2011 at 12:14 PM
He’s always been a despicable asshole. Nobody bothered to notice until he went to Boston.

I’d like to think I was just young and didn’t know any better.
February 5th, 2011 at 12:42 PM
Someday somebody is going to absolutely send a haymaker to his face and I can’t wait to see it. Epic prick.
February 5th, 2011 at 2:59 PM
At some point he’s got to be suspending and his blatant disrespect for the refs in that sequence is the perfect reason to do so.
February 5th, 2011 at 3:52 PM
Sorry TBL, that’s not true. If KG was there he would have backpedaled as soon as things go heated. The only way there would have been blood if KG was there is if he were to trip while backing up and hit his head on the ground
