Brian Wilson Went on Lopez Tonight and Talked About Massages in Thailand & Dry-Humping in Baseball
All, Baseball, Television, Video January 28th. 2011, 10:00am
Brian Wilson, the increasingly-bizarre San Francisco Giants closer, went on “Lopez Tonight” Thursday and talked about, among other things, his offseason trip to Thailand. “I engaged in some activities … I had a lot of massages … not those kind of massages … they were strictly sexual. I don’t think that’s what I meant to say. They were consensual.” Enjoy the double-entendres, the gimp, the machine, dry-humping, and all the other strange shit coming out of Brian Wilson’s mouth. January 28th, 2011 at 10:06 AM
George Lopez is still alive?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:07 AM
Going on George Lopez Tonight is probably the strangest thing about Wilson.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:07 AM
I am so happy.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:07 AM
This guy scares me.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
Needs more this
January 28th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
I didn’t know George Lopez was in the moveie Ski Patrol untill last week. Great flick.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:08 AM
That was entertaining.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:09 AM
I didn’t even see that you had a link in this comment. TBL, PLEASE FIX THAT.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:09 AM
George pulled it off pretty well. He didn’t get freaked out or taken aback by anything Wilson said. Good interview, they’re both entertaining. I appreciated the “crazy motherfucker” mention.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:10 AM
“Chuck Norris has been known to throw a 100 mph fastball. I’ve been known to throw a Chuck Norris at 100 mph.”
Coffee. Everywhere.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:11 AM
Anyone else think it was the other Brian Wilson when TBL tweeted it?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:11 AM
Brian Wilson makes me miss Adam Burish. They do the same thing for their teams.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:12 AM
Wait, can we talk about how it says “GLo” on that set. That’s high comedy.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:12 AM
He grew up in the town next to me.
/never heard of him until he made the pros
January 28th, 2011 at 10:12 AM

I thought he was in bed.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:12 AM
He’s quite the salty seaman.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:13 AM
He grew up in the town next to me
what planet was that?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:15 AM
Ironically, Londonderry, NH is a very affluent town.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:20 AM
This was great.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:21 AM
Definitely need the recent posts on the siderail, especially with the new mobile site, which is great, btw
January 28th, 2011 at 10:21 AM
Londonderry no kidding? I have family there.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:22 AM
Is this sarcasm or did I miss something?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:25 AM
It has a bit of a different layout but it’s not a traditional WP mobile site. There’s no comment threading or navigation buttons once you’re within a post.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:25 AM
Mod’d:

January 28th, 2011 at 10:26 AM
Ray Drew to UGA, bitches!!
January 28th, 2011 at 10:27 AM
This is great. Favorite athlete by far right now.
With Tracey Morgan, Chuck Sheen, and this clip it has been a great friday morning to do nothing at work.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:27 AM
funny stuff.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:27 AM
o-ver-rat-ed.
clap, clap, clapclapclap.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:27 AM
Can’t stand this clown.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:29 AM
You hate everything
January 28th, 2011 at 10:29 AM
We’re all still waiting for the first thing you like.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:29 AM
I said Ray Drew, not Da’Rick Rogers.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:30 AM
I miss the old days when links weren’t in some shitty maroon color, when you could tell there’s a new post while in another post, when you knew whether or not someone responded to your question about cost of living…
January 28th, 2011 at 10:31 AM
Even the guy advocating for an athlete to kill himself with his ID liked this, JHS. Time to warm up, buddy.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:31 AM
Can’t stand this clown.
I bet you are a blast to hang out with
January 28th, 2011 at 10:32 AM
I think 95% of us will agree with this
January 28th, 2011 at 10:33 AM
Ray Drew to UGA, bitches!!
Hell yes! Hopefully Jenkins and Crowell will follow.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:33 AM
I wonder what’s going to be this guy’s Sgt. Pepper to send him over the edge like the other Brian Wilson.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:34 AM
I think UGA gets them both and Pagan. Doubt they get the OT, but that would make this class batshit-crazy good.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:35 AM
Only one way to find that out. You buyin’ the booze?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:35 AM
Wished he would have asked George to come over to his house to mow his lawn.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:35 AM
especially with the new mobile site, which is great, btw
Is this sarcasm or did I miss something?
yeah, it’s actually worse than it was, if that’s possible. Now, there’s ad banners on both sides, compressing the actual site to an unreadable font size.
Then, with no recent comments & recent posts, you might as well return home to you know if there is a new post.
There are WAY too many “leads” on the side, giving you about 100 different ways to leave the site, yet no recent posts log to keep you here. Also, lose the tweets. The last one on here was from an hour ago. Most everyone on here is “real time”. Waste of space.
/I’ll email this to TBL also
//think that’s what he said to do
January 28th, 2011 at 10:36 AM
Me too
January 28th, 2011 at 10:38 AM
I miss the old days when links weren’t in some shitty maroon color, when you could tell there’s a new post while in another post,
I miss the green. It was soothing.
/am wearing a green shirt today in protest.
//gets hit with water cannon.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:39 AM
i mean, it’s totally understandable how it’d make you go insane when your work of art gets overshadowed by a faux-artsy wankery.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:39 AM
So I guees the racing leads is a present for ballz after making the wiki page?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:40 AM
Yes, all of this. I highly doubt I will ever click on one of this “leads” on the right. I’d have to actually read them first. And having no “recent posts” and “recents comments” section makes the site less user friendly. Anything that makes it more difficult for commenters is a bad change.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:40 AM
Agreed, I stopped following TBL on Twitter for a reason…stop forcing this on me!
January 28th, 2011 at 10:41 AM
I hope it is a lime green polo.
/RIP Banders
January 28th, 2011 at 10:42 AM
There’s something to this, sure. But clearly the intention is to make TheBigLead be a portal and traffic driver to the rest of BigLeadSports sites.
/had no idea Baseball Musings was part of the group, love Pinto
January 28th, 2011 at 10:45 AM
The reddish brown conflicts with the red of my gravatar. Please fix this. Kthnx.
TBL is probably give us all the finger right now.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:46 AM
Nah, he doesn’t read the comments.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:47 AM
Nah, he doesn’t read the comments.
One of the funniest comments on here ever was when Duffy said one day that he doesn’t read the comments and no one comes here for the comments. His first post of the day came an hour or so later and the very first comment on it was bsanders saying “READ ME!”
January 28th, 2011 at 10:47 AM
I think this 90/10 ratio is just a little off.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:49 AM

Yeah that cant be right

obviously it’s for FSV synergy, & said so last night in TBLAD, but the right side of the page is a Rorschach test on the eyes with all the fierce red font/links (I counted THIRTY EIGHT). Dump at least half of them, & give us the 10 comment/posts we’ve had forever & it will look better & be easier to navigate
/where’s ryanb?
January 28th, 2011 at 10:50 AM
That’s gold.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:50 AM
I miss Banders and his random youtube links. They were the best.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:50 AM
Awwww, Cleet.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:50 AM
Damnit, I keep scrolling up to see the latest post and comments, but they’re not there anymore!
January 28th, 2011 at 10:52 AM
NEW POST
January 28th, 2011 at 10:52 AM
I never really used latest posts or comments so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. I just jump between posts a lot.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:53 AM
I miss Sanders, like the deserts miss the rain.
that’s the gayest thing ever written on here, even more than coop
January 28th, 2011 at 10:53 AM
I can see this becoming a new meme.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:54 AM
TBL probably sees a comment like, “Love the new layout, I would just change the font color, and add in Recent Comments and New Posts. Also, teh synergy is a tad over the top.” and files that in the positive bin.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:54 AM
that’s the gayest thing ever written on here, even more than coop
No, crackerjack saying he likes dudes is the gayest thing ever written on here.
/Paolo.
//it’s still funny to me.

I dont see it yet..

I never really used latest posts or comments so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. I just jump between posts a lot.
how do you do it on a mobile? I only have like 3 windows available, & I’m not gonna use them all for TBL
January 28th, 2011 at 10:56 AM
how do you do it on a mobile? I only have like 3 windows available, & I’m not gonna use them all for TBL
I do the same, I switch between posts a lot. What will probably hurt me on mobile is that I used the huge “The Big Lead” banner which was linked back to the main page to refresh if the page didn’t seem completely up to do (no F5 on the iPhone afterall). That he doesn’t seem to have a huge main page linked banner anymore will be the most annoying part.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:57 AM
to be fair, the desert doesn’t really miss the rain. that’s why it’s a desert.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:58 AM
Quoting a 90s song vs. admitting to tonguing another dude’s epiglotis is no comparison.
January 28th, 2011 at 10:58 AM
He is like Tech Support in vanilla sky….just shout his name and he will magically appear
January 28th, 2011 at 10:59 AM
we can all agree that we all come here for the comments though, right?
January 28th, 2011 at 11:00 AM
Pretty much. Guess we’re the minority, though.
January 28th, 2011 at 11:01 AM
we can all agree that we all come here for the comments though, right?
My reading of the comments/posts is 90/10.
January 28th, 2011 at 11:01 AM
word. this. spencer gets it.
January 28th, 2011 at 11:03 AM
we can all agree that we all come here for the comments though, right?
Absolutely.
January 28th, 2011 at 11:04 AM
This is the truth.
January 28th, 2011 at 11:05 AM
pretty sure I would stop coming here all together if there were no more comments. You kids make work bearable.
January 28th, 2011 at 11:05 AM
we can all agree that we all come here for the comments though, right?
but we’re only 5% of the viewers. The other 95% read these scintillating, news-breaking posts, then leave, hit the “home” button to see if there are any new ones, then rinse/was/repeat
January 28th, 2011 at 11:08 AM
So sweet . . .
January 28th, 2011 at 11:12 AM
