At every step, he made sure not to keep people guessing about whether he would re-sign. A terrible way to go about helping lure free agents and establishing a nucleus. All things considered and despite LeBron’s wavering, they built a pretty solid team.

When was the last time a big time, big name free agent in either baseball, basketball, or football actually chose to sign a contract with any of those teams?
