I feel like NBA players/stars view the Knicks in the same light NFL Teams view the Los Angeles market: they’d rather to use the Knicks as leverage to make their current situation better than actually moving to play in NY.

lol. I hadn’t heard that yet. There’s no denying Stafford has been bit hard by the injury bug, but I’d prefer if his own teammates wouldn’t call him out. There is no way he could have played with that shoulder injury, unless the Lions brought back Barry and ran it every down.
