Even Sideline Reporters Need Practice Reps
All, Erin Andrews, ESPN, Goooooood Morning Sports Hernia, Media Gossip/Musings January 25th. 2011, 7:30am
This shot of Erin Andrews practicing her craft trickled in some time after the Oregon-Auburn national championship game, but somehow got lost in the truffle shuffle until this morning. Safe to say the “Tracy Wolfson Cam-Cam Juice” post is hearing some maddening footsteps.

The money shot!

Herm Edwards on Mike and Mike saying he wouldn’t take Cutler as his QB.
Don’t worry I don’t think you’ll ever have to worry about that again.
Golic still wants Cutler to “stomp on the sideline” to get back in as Edwards say they were gladiators.
Cutler should just get his leg amputated.
January 25th, 2011 at 7:58 AM
He pulled an LTD on the sidelines. Thats his only crime.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:03 AM
the only thing worse than having Cutler as my team’s QB, is the thought of listening to Coach Herm being interviews on Mike and Mike
January 25th, 2011 at 8:09 AM
Who cares about Cutler. Do you guys not see Erin Andrews practicing up above? I have been married for 10 years so this sort of thing gets me excited considering I haven’t seen anything near this in…….10 years.
/bitter old man’d

At least you aren’t telling us that you’re a chubster and couldn’t do better.
/that one guy
January 25th, 2011 at 8:16 AM
This Cutler thing is tiresome. And I guarantee you if he stayed in and played like shit, Mike and Herm would crucify him for putting personal glory ahead of the larger cause. Some people just can’t win.
And yet, when Steve McNair had to be taken out of games, he was a “warrior.”
/the media plays favorites and is full of shit
January 25th, 2011 at 8:19 AM
Looks like she’d use her teeth tho………..could be rough…….but I’d take one for the team.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:20 AM
Overrated.

For anyone with a fully functional brain, Herm Edwards died the day he did the Herminator segment on Sportscenter.

Does anyone remember a link that was going around from amazon or some other online store that had wolf-themed clothing for sale? There were a bunch of hilarious comments in the comment section about the clothes – some people said the wolf coat allowed them to kill wild animals with their bare hands yada yada yada… Well I just saw a guy wearing one of those coats and it was a very startling experience.

She does not open wide enough.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:36 AM
im sick of people thinking they know how good of a leader is by a few token sideline shots of his body language. that’s the most half baked thing i’ve ever heard in my fucking life.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:36 AM
*cutler is
January 25th, 2011 at 8:39 AM
This Cutler thing has served to remind everyone how many stupid people contribute to sports media every day. A fucking lot.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:40 AM
i loved on mike and mike, hearing herman edwards say that “this is the NFL! you can’t tap out!” or some variation of it for 15 fucking minutes. what a blowhard.
in other mike and mike news, i think franco harris is brain dead.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:41 AM
There is always one. Well played.
Sportsgal, here you go. Looks like I figured out what I am going to do for the next hour.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:42 AM
Guys, they have 2 weeks until the super bowl and this Cutler debacle gives them at least a few days worth of material.
P.S. You’re not helping by talking about how tired you are of people talking about Cutler.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:44 AM
i don’t care that they’re talking about it, i care HOW they’re talking about it.
when golic says that perception doesn’t always mean reality and that we don’t know anything other than seeing cutler on the sidelines AND THEN says he still doesn’t like him, that’s just an idiot wasting oxygen.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:45 AM
Oh my lordy, there goes my productivity today.

If any of you smell Icy Hot today, that’s me. I practically bathed in it this morning.

carimi + joe thomas and alex mack + colt mccoy + thundercock = lombardis
January 25th, 2011 at 8:49 AM
I’m pretty sure that Golic used up his allotment of oxygen quite some time ago.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:50 AM
i can’t type this morning. im gonna sit the next few out.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:50 AM
Is it just me or can anyone else only see the last 20 or so tweets on Twitter?
January 25th, 2011 at 8:50 AM
@Badger – Bowen is one of the Eagles beat writers.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:52 AM
I find that hard to believe since he never did anything but run out of bounds

Flava Flav’s Fried Chicken in Iowa.
yeaah boyeee! Iowa?
January 25th, 2011 at 8:56 AM
Would love to see him on the Eagles. Great team. Browns wouldn’t be too bad either with all the pieces they have. Hope the new coaching doesn’t stunt Colt’s development. Browns being competitive is great for the league, not too mention the region.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:58 AM
how could anyone say EA isn’t attractive. boggles the mind.
January 25th, 2011 at 8:59 AM
Spencer did you see what Tony grossi wrote in the PD regarding the trades that got us Mack in the draft? Something along the lines of “worst trade in browns history” and how that “cannot be disputed”.
I really hate the Cleveland spots media
January 25th, 2011 at 9:00 AM
Concur. Understated pro, who reports facts (shocking!), and is actually pretty funny on Comcast and in his twitter feed. He was also good back when he was the Flyers beat reporter.
January 25th, 2011 at 9:02 AM
mmonast…wtf? mack is the 2nd best center in the NFL…what a fucktard.
January 25th, 2011 at 9:05 AM
Here is the link from clevelandfrowns; really amazing when you think of it. He wrote that piece on Sunday before he wa named to the probowl but still. Guy has been great with JT and steinbach

I heard enough of this couch psychoanalysis on body language after watching Donovan McNabb for 10 years.
It’s also one of the reasons why I stopped listening to talk radio, because there is always some mouth breather, who once scored 4 touchdowns at recess or won his fantasy league, who thinks he’s got it all figured out.
What’s worse with this Cutler thing is that players, who you would think would know better, are now getting into the act.
January 25th, 2011 at 9:10 AM
mmonast…well, that’s a little different. i agree it was a terrible trade because of veikune, francies and james davis.
January 25th, 2011 at 9:38 AM
This is an excellent point. A you’re right, a guy with Cutler’s demeanor will find it difficult to win over idiots like the ones mentioned in your comment no matter what he does.
