Ty Thomas Woke Up From a Nap and Had a Torn Meniscus
1-liner, All, NBA, Pathetic Injuries January 22nd. 2011, 11:45am
Ty Thomas: The Bobcats forward participated in Thursday’s morning shoot-around. Then, he took a nap. Upon waking up, he felt a swelling in his knee. Thomas (11.1 ppg, 5.8 rpg) had somehow suffered a torn meniscus. He’ll be out 8 weeks. He probably has those jimmy legs Kramer talked about. [Observer]

still think his 21-13 vs Aldridge after blocking 5 shots against Duke the game before made this guy’s career.
if it’s possible to still be raw offensively in year 6 in the NBA, then Ty Thomas is raw.

I remember watching him dominate downlow against Uconn that year and thinking he’d be a high draft pick. He blocked a bunch of shots and looked very atha-let-ic.
